Federation of Camera Clubs NSW
The Federation of Camera Clubs (FCC) is the leading body representing photography clubs across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. With a proud history of promoting the art and craft of photography, the FCC currently supports over 72 affiliated clubs and a thriving community of more than 2,500 passionate photographers.
We exist to champion and support camera clubs and their members by providing a central hub for resources, education, development, and community connection. Whether you’re a beginner behind the lens or a seasoned enthusiast, the FCC is here to help you grow, share, and be inspired.

Educational Resources & Presentations
We provide access to a growing library of learning materials, including expert-led presentations designed to help photographers of all levels improve their craft.

Insurance for
Photography Clubs
We offer affiliated clubs access to public liability and other essential insurances, helping to protect and support club activities and events.
Judge Training & Professional Development
Our Judge Training Program provides the skills and knowledge needed to assess photographic competitions with fairness and consistency. We also support ongoing development through refresher sessions, mentoring, and resources – ensuring both new and experienced judges uphold high standards across club, regional and state-level competitions.
Competitions & Recognition
The FCC hosts two major statewide competitions:
NSW TopShot – open to individual members of affiliated clubs, showcasing the best in personal photographic achievement.
NSW InterClub – a celebration of club-level excellence, open to all FCC-affiliated clubs across the state.

The FCC is proud to support regional photographic networks, including:
The Northern Photographic Federation (serving clubs in the Hunter region).
The Northern NSW Zone of Photographic Societies (supporting clubs in the state’s north).
